Weekend plans? We know what BroadReacher's got planned for this weekend and I'm working tomorrow but have Sunday off. No plans as it's raining most of the time right now. But on Monday I have a job interview! It's for a supervisor's post at another hospital. What are you all up to tomorrow and Sunday? And into next week too if you have plans. And yesterday was great - I was having a moan to a friend at work about how many gay men worked in the same department as me and her but that there were no lesbians. She came straight out with 5 names! (Actually, I'm pretty sure one isn't). Also ed one over to confirm that she is! Which made for nice conversation at work today and now I feel happier knowing that I'm not alone and that there's support in case it's ever needed.

Happy Bday Oooh - I'm so wanting to go to the HP movie too! Don't think I will make it this weekend, but enjoy for all of us.

I am actaully trying to figure out how to get officially laid-off so I can file for unemployment. Our division closed, we packed up equipment, shipped it to a different office and locked the doors. That was in June. In the previous month everyone but me got a lay off notice and had the right to "bump" an employee with less time in the system. I never got a lay-off notice. I went to the BIG boss today who had never met me and he just said they would look into it. I hope it is enough of a mistake on their part that they offer me a new position in another division. He looked pretty startled that I had not been laid off.

Nothing specific planned here but I'm having a house guest starting in a week and I want to get my house in slightly better order for her arrival.
